Travel kits are a great idea. We have pillows that double as novelty carrying bags. You just take out the washable pillow poof and fill it with goodies they collect during our family holidays!

I love this entry. I am struggling with the same thing. My clients are struggling. My friends are struggling.
I've started budgeting my time like money. And I am one frugal lady!

Thanks

I enjoy reading all the recent articles about hurricane season and I thought perhaps a different twist on preparedness might be interesting to your readers... such as, what about involving the children?

I am the author of Time to Get Ready...A Hurricane is Coming to Our Town! This is the first book in the Time to Get Ready series and will help explain the phenomenon of hurricanes to children ages 4-8 in a “grow and learn” non-threatening way, from a child’s perspective. This book is a paperback and although it was just released last month, it is drawing interest from Meteorologists, Science Museums and teachers. It is dedicated To the children…the most vulnerable people affected by natural disasters. A portion of the proceeds from sales will be donated to hurricane victims through a partnership with charitable organizations such as, Feed The Children.
